On Tuesday 12th November 3D Research participated at the 'Creative Europe Information Day: an important meeting for the cultural and creative sector' organised by the Fabbrica Italiana dell'Innovazione, in Naples.

The meeting brought together over 100 professionals from the cultural and creative sectors, offering an opportunity dedicated to the Creative Europe 2025 Programme.

“Fabbrica Italiana dell’Innovazione” is the result of a collaboration between a group of innovative companies and a public-private consortium, active in digital innovation, business creation, advanced training and finance. Prominent partners include Agilae, BCC Napoli, CNS Tech, European Brokers, ForMare, Iniziativa Cube, Meditech-Competence Centre, Monticelli Consulting, Olidata, Smart Malico, SPICI and Tecno.

The day began with institutional greetings by Fabrizio Monticelli, President of the Organisation, followed by a video message from Pierluigi Rippa, Coordinator of the Advisory Board of Fabbrica Italiana, and Luca Tesauro, Founder and CEO of Giffoni Innovation Hub. The event, moderated by Ettore De Lorenzo, featured insightful speeches by Andrea Coluccia and Marzia Santone from the Creative Europe Italy Desk, who outlined the funding opportunities provided by the European programme.

3D Research, with the speeches by President Fabio Bruno and CTO Marco Cozza, showcased its expertise in virtual and augmented reality during an engaging presentation. The discussion featured two prominent European projects, CREAMARE and ART4SEA, which were successfully developed with the support of the Creative Europe Programme.

CREAMARE project is dedicated to promoting and preserving Underwater Cultural Heritage, a hidden treasure waiting to be rediscovered and protected. The project aims to raise awareness of critical social and environmental challenges, including marine pollution and the numerous threats to ocean ecosystems. By promoting awareness and encouraging concrete actions, the initiative seeks to inspire a collective commitment to the preservation and sustainable management of these invaluable resources, ensuring their protection for future generations.

3D Research also showcased CREAMARE The Game, a serious game designed to educate and inspire players. The goal is to celebrate the value of underwater wonders while raising awareness about the importance of protecting ocean health for future generations.

ART4SEA uniquely brings together art, science and technology. The project encourages collaboration between artists, scientists, creative professionals and digital innovators, creating synergies capable of inspiring and engaging a wider audience. The aim is to engage people to change their relationship with the ocean, fostering a new vision of sustainability and preservation of the marine ecosystem.

Next, Fabio Belsanti, Founder of AgeOfGames, explored the topic of immersive content, while Valeria Told, CEO of Fortissimo Education, illustrated a case study related to the Creative Innovation Lab.

The meeting provided a clear overview of European funding opportunities, focusing on key aspects such as cooperation, innovation and sustainability.
