CREAMARE and Art4Sea at the Creative Europe Information Day

CREAMARE and Art4Sea, coordinated by 3D Research, were presented at the Information Day on European Cooperation Projects in Rome as models of creative collaboration, demonstrating how the power of art and digital innovation can promote environmental sustainability and Underwater Heritage.

Last February, at the Sala Spadolini of the Italian Ministry of Culture in Rome, Fabio Bruno, President of 3D Research, was a guest speaker at the Creative Europe Information Day, presenting two standout projects coordinated by 3D Research: CREAMARE and Art4Sea.

Among the featured projects, these initiatives were highlighted during the session "How can European Cooperation Projects narrate contemporary creativity? How do we design European cultural and linguistic diversity?"— a discussion exploring how cultural collaboration can drive impactful storytelling, innovation, and sustainability.

CREAMARE aims to bring to light the submerged archaeological treasures of the Mediterranean - from the Hellenistic period to World War II - through virtual worlds and an educational video game. By merging technology, culture, and innovation, the project offers an engaging and accessible way to explore underwater heritage, making it available to a broader audience.

Art4Sea, on the other hand, aligns with the Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030). It combines art, science, and new technologies to promote environmental awareness and ocean conservation. The project demonstrates how creativity can be a powerful tool for raising public awareness and encouraging a more responsible approach to marine ecosystems.

Two projects that testify to how 3D Research is committed to combining innovation, culture and sustainability, generating significant impact in society at the European level.
